Clinical Open Rank Professor in Physical Therapy

The Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences (NWCNHS) at Florida International University is accepting applications for an Open Rank: Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor in the Physical Therapy Department. This is a non-tenure earning, 12-month in unit appointment. Candidates must have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution or a PhD in a related field. The candidate must be a licensed physical therapist (PT) in the jurisdiction of the United States and be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida. Candidates should be current in evidence-based physical therapy practice. Areas of emphasis are Diagnostic imaging, Kinesiology, Therapeutic Exercise, Differential Diagnosis and Clinical Skills. Recent teaching experience is recommended.

The mission of the NWCNHS is to teach, conduct research, and serve the community. NWCNHS prepares diverse healthcare professionals as providers and leaders in the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and culturally competent care within a highly technological and global environment. The College also promotes, expands, and validates scientific knowledge and evidence-based practice through interdisciplinary research.
