Full-Time Faculty Position: Undergraduate Nursing Program
Clinical Title Series (Non-Tenure Track)

The University of Kentucky College of Nursing invites qualified applicants for this full-time (10-month) position in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. This non-tenure track position includes developing, coordinating, and teaching content in an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. It includes classroom or online instruction; supervision of nursing students in the nursing skills lab and clinical settings; advising students; involvement on college committees; clinical scholarship and membership in professional organizations. It may include service in clinical practice.

Qualifications include a minimum of an earned Master’s Degree in nursing (required); doctorate in nursing (preferred) from an accredited college or university, confirmed by an official transcript from the degree-granting institution. The successful candidate must have an active Kentucky RN license. A minimum of two years of full-time or equivalent nursing experience within the last five years is required in the specialty area of High Acuity Nursing (Intensive Care). Previous teaching experience in an accredited BSN program is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching, scholarship, clinical practice and service.
