This is a full-time, 9-month position for Assistant/Associate Professor in a non-tenure track clinical faculty line. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the entry-level DPT program and conducting research activities consistent with accreditation expectations. Additionally, this position will be required to participate in university, professional and department service activities. The successful clinical track candidate will be expected to meet University criteria related to teaching and service. The successful candidate will also be expected to adhere to UNLV Top Tier Initiatives related to teaching and mentoring. Anticipated start date would be January 2018.

A licensed physical therapist (required) with an earned terminal degree (PhD, DSc, or EdD) is preferred. However, candidates with a DPT will be considered. Candidates must have at least 5 years of clinical experience and clinical specialization, with preference given to ABPTS board-certified candidates. Applicants must be eligible for licensure by the Nevada State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position is contingent upon funding.
