POSITIONSUMMARY: Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON), Bloomington campus invites nominations and applications for two full-time, tenure track faculty positions at the assistant / associate professor rank. Research, teaching, and service are expectations for appointment to the tenure track. The preferred academic fields for these positions are: Registered Nurse (RN) in community or rural health, RN critical care; Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in family or psych mental health.
BASICQUALIFICATIONS: Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a master’s degree in nursing, with teaching experience in undergraduate and/or graduate academic fields noted above. Candidates should have an established program of research with potential for extramural funding. Research expertise in health services research; or nursing education, training and certification; or translational research are preferred. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for Indiana RN or advanced practice licensure, with certification in specialty preferred. Appointment to academic rank and salary dependent on evidence for scholarly, teaching, and service achievements.
