The Orvis School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applicants to apply for one full-time 9-month non-tenure track, position with rank of assistant professor beginning fall 2019. Applicant must be eligible for NV RN licensure and hold national certification as an AGACNP. A minimum of a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in a related field is required for a non-tenure track position. Rank and salary commensurate with experience and education.
The Orvis School of Nursing offers an entry-level BSN program, an online RN to BSN program; BSN to DNP and MSN programs, with Psych/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner; MSN also include tracks for Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Leader; and a post-master’s DNP program. The Orvis School of Nursing provides numerous opportunities for collaborative teaching, research and services with other disciplines in the University.
