Nationally Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who will be a part of the clinical faculty holding a part/full time appointment within the School of Nursing to provide health care in a community-based setting on a federally funded HRSA grant. Our community partner, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has three clinics that will be staffed by the individuals hired on this posting. These clinics include the Tuscarora Health Center, Golisano Community Health Center, and the Seneca Gaming Health Clinic. Prior experience in diverse, rural, and underserved health care settings is required. Highly competitive compensation and benefits packages are available. Applicants with a MS/MSN will be considered in conjunction with prior work experience. Must be licensed New York State Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse and possess national certification. Three years of combined individual and group psychiatric care in an outpatient, community setting is required.
Experience working with students and in a telehealth environment. Experience working with underserved, rural and American Indian populations. Experience working in interprofessional education environments. Doctoral degree (e.g. DNP or PhD) preferred.
