The Faculty of Medicine, Aalborg University, is launching a strategic initiative on AI method research within health data science. The aim is to create a cross-disciplinary initiative to strengthen cohesion across medicine, engineering and natural science disciplines and departmental boundaries at the faculty.
To kick-off the initiative, three tenure track assistant professors are recruited within these specific areas:
- Advancing AI-driven statistical genomics to unravel disease heterogeneity and improve precision medicine
- Advancing multimodal AI for clinical practice to predict lifetime risk and treatment outcomes in cancer and complex diseases
- Pioneering AI methods for integrative analysis of imaging, clinical and biomedical data to advance understanding and management of complex diseases.
The positions are full-time and open for appointment from November 1, 2025 or soon hereafter.
