-Seeking a qualified individual for a full-time faculty position with a clinical focus in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. This is a full-time, on-campus position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
-Assist with the development, content, implementation, and evaluation of the clinical curriculum.
-Assist with the development of new clinical sites, perform clinical site reviews, and site visits.
-Counsel, advise, and assign students to clinical preceptorships.
-Teach, evaluate, and advise didactic and clinical year students.
-Develop and implement ideas, procedures, and functions of the PA program in concert with the clinical faculty, the site director and program chair.
-Maintain state licensure and national certification as a Physician Assistant.
-Participate on college committees as directed by program chair.
-Perform other duties as assigned by chairman/site director.
-Candidate must be willing to travel.
*Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
-Master’s degree is required.
-Candidates must have at least three (3) years of clinical experience.
-This is a full-time, on-campus position.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
-Candidates should be currently certified as a PA and maintain state licensure and national certification as a Physician Assistant.
