Position Summary

The College of Nursing at Villanova University seeks nominations and applications for a full-time faculty position with preparation in psychiatric/mental health nursing. The successful candidate will teach, advise, participate in guiding student projects, participate in international experiences with students, engage in scholarly work in area of specialty and maintain active involvement in the College, University and professional community.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teach in both classroom and clinical settings, advise, participate in international experiences with students, participate in guiding student projects, engage in scholarly work in area of specialty, and maintain active involvement in the College, University and professional community.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters degree in psychiatric/mental health nursing required. Previous teaching experience in a college or university academic program and teaching philosophy commensurate with Villanova Universitys mission and values required. Evidence of scholarly work in area of expertise. Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD degree preferred. Certification in specialty area desired.
