Title and Rank: Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and expertise. Position is 12 month with the option of tenure or non-tenure track.

Position Requirements:
Occupational Therapist with an earned post-professional doctoral degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Record of teaching in occupational therapy professional education.
  • Experience developing professional/post-professional education, research, and service opportunities.
  • Three – five years of professional practice.
  • Articulation of research agenda or record of scholarly activity.
  • Record of service to the profession.

Responsibilities: Supporting the development of the occupational therapy program through research, teaching, and service in the areas of expertise and related subjects.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Job Description:
a) Teaching in professional and post-professional curriculum.
b) Actively Participate in the curriculum design process and other activities that support the accreditation process.
c) Collaborate with other colleges and departments in the development and implementation of interprofessional programs.
d) Mentoring and student advisement.

a) Participate in research and scholarly activities related to occupational therapy.
b) Mentor students in research.
c) Maintain a productive record of scholarly activity.
d) Pursue funding for research or area of interest in practice.

a) Participate in University, College, Department, and Program committees.
b) Participate in clinical service activities that support the mission of the institution.
c) Collaborate with others in the development and implementation of interprofessional clinical outreach.
