Candidates for tenure track positions will have an established program of research, record of peer-reviewed publications, external funding, and teaching experience. Tenure track faculty in the School of Nursing are expected to maintain an active program of research, teach, and engage in service at the school and university-levels.

  • Candidates must hold a graduate degree in nursing and a doctoral degree in nursing or related field;
  • An unencumbered RN license in North Carolina, which is required prior to employment date;

This is a 9-month academic year position with full benefits. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience and credentials.

The School of Nursing is CCNE accredited and is a NLN Center of Excellence in Faculty Development. The University has over 20,000 students and is classified by Carnegie as a research university with high research activity.
