All open faculty positions are ten-month, full-time, tenure-track assignments at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective September 1, 2019, unless otherwise indicated. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Courses are taught at the Union campus but some positions may include assignments at Kean Ocean in Toms River, New Jersey or other locations.
All tenure-track faculty are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an on-going program of research and publication or creative and performance activity. Participation in curriculum development, student advisement and service at the departmental/school, college, university and community level is also required. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. All positions are subject to availability of funds, due to financial exigencies.

School of Communication Disorders and Deafness
Speech-Language Pathology – to teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses that deal with the nature, identification, assessment and treatment of communication sciences and disorders across the lifespan, including course work in our clinical doctorate (SLPD) program; to supervise clinical practica; provide advisement; and perform all other duties associated with university faculty positions.
Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or its equivalent; CCC-SLP; eligibility for New Jersey State licensure; experience with university-level teaching; and an established research agenda is required. ABD considered with completion date by September 1, 2019. A robust research agenda, past and future, is highly desired. Ability to and experience in guiding student research is preferred.
