The College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time on campus 12-month, tenure track faculty position. Candidates with expertise in research methodology are sought to teach our highly qualified student body. Candidates with experience in grantsmanship and research grant applications are highly desired.

The College of Nursing offers twice per year traditional BSN and RN to BSN admission. We offer graduate programs in Master’s in Nursing (Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator), Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master’s degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Auburn University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have an earned research doctorate (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and a graduate degree in nursing at the time employment begins.
Desired Qualifications
Baccalaureate, graduate, and online teaching experience in nursing and evidence of interdisciplinary collaboration and scholarly productivity at the time employment begins.

Candidates must be eligible for Alabama RN license, must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; must have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
