The Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in epidemiology at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. This position is located within a unique multi-disciplinary environment with a history of excellence in epidemiologic research and teaching programs. The faculty member will have the opportunity to be a member of the Colorado School of Public Health (www.publichealth.ucdenver.edu), including the Graduate Degree Program in Public Health at Colorado State University (https://publichealth.colostate.edu).

Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Epidemiology or a closely-related field. This faculty position will have a focus on teaching both introductory and advanced epidemiologic methods; previous teaching experience is preferred. Candidates with the ability to teach graduate-level introductory epidemiology, advanced epidemiology, causal inference, spatial epidemiology, survey design, statistical software programming (R, SAS, STATA, ArcGIS), and /or infectious disease epidemiology are preferred; other relevant teaching expertise will also be considered. The faculty member will be expected to contribute to teaching in the graduate epidemiology program (and potentially our undergraduate environmental health degree program), mentor graduate students, and participate in externally funded research. The Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences is home to over 120 undergraduate Environmental Health students, over 140 graduate students, and 41 faculty members. Graduate students pursue degrees (MS, PhD) in Environmental Health, specializing in Epidemiology, among others. The Department has a strong tradition in environmental epidemiology, cancer epidemiology, reproductive epidemiology, indoor and ambient air pollution, respiratory and cardiovascular health, occupational health and safety, ergonomics, toxicology, and radiation cancer biology.
