The School of Nursing invites applications for a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner holding a part/full time appointment to provide health care in a community-based setting on a federally funded HRSA grant. Our community partner, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has three clinics that could be staffed by the individual(s) hired on this posting. These clinics include Tuscarora Health Center, Grand Island Clinic, and the Golisano Community Health Center. Prior experience in diverse, rural, and underserved health care settings is required. Applicants with a MS/MSN will be considered in conjunction with prior work experience. A minimum of one year clinical experience in primary care of community health is required. Must be a licensed New York State Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse and possess national FNP certification. A minimum of one year of FNP clinical experience in a primary care setting is required.
Experience working with students and in a telehealth environment. Experience working with underserved, rural and American Indian populations. Experience working in interprofessional education environments.
