The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership, student instruction, and student advising in the Physician Assistant Program. This person will provide didactic, clinical, pre-clinical and laboratory instruction and evaluate student performance in Physician Assistant courses offered. Position will start in the Fall 2018 semester, August 16, 2018. This position will follow a 220-day calendar.
Minimum qualifications: Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA Program and Current NCCPA certification with eligibility for a Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in a related discipline, OR, a bachelor’s degree and enrollment in an approved program of study with a formal education plan leading to a master’s degree in a related discipline within three (3) years, OR, a doctorate with experience or previous academic background in a related field or discipline; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form; interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, faculty, the medical community, and the public; developed organizational skills; must possess a current Hepatitis B Vaccine with a willingness to maintain; must possess and maintain a current CPR certification; and must possess a valid driver’s license.
