    Requirements


    A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Human Nutrition with at least four (4) years of lecturing at tertiary education level and/or industrial experience and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience.  Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence to teach the following courses: Community Nutrition and Nutrition in Emergency, and at least one from Nutrition Anthropology, Food Composition and Analysis, and Clinical Nutrition at undergraduate level.  Competence to establish professional networks and to maintain links with the industry, as well as experience in developing undergraduate programmes.  A credible record of lecturing, peer-reviewed publications, community engagement, supervision of students (research) undergraduate level, as well as a relevant Doctorate will be an advantage.
