Educating nurses since 1979, the University of Central Florida College of Nursing offers academic excellence from the baccalaureate to the doctorate in Central Florida and beyond with traditional classroom and online programs. With the main campus in Orlando, amidst a hub of health care activity, the college prepares nurse leaders with nationally recognized faculty, innovative research, evidence-based practice and community service. The college’s mission is to prepare nurse leaders and patient advocates through excellence in education, research and service. The college is home to two departments: Nursing Systems and Nursing Practice. Sixty full-time faculty including two STTI Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame Inductees, along with a highly qualified group of part-time faculty members teach across programs to promote student success.
