A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Human Nutrition or related qualification with at least four years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/or industry experience or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence to teach in at least three of the following courses: Food Security and Nutrition, Nutrition through the Life Cycle, Food Chemistry, Food Composition and Analysis, Food Service Systems or Food Processing and Preservation. Registered or registrable with the Allied Health Professions Council of Namibia. A credible record of lecturing, peer-reviewed publications, community engagement, supervision of students (research) at undergraduate level, experience in developing undergraduate programmes as well as a relevant Doctorate will be an advantage.
