Assistant/Associate Professor of Environmental Health. A 9-month tenure track position beginning August 15, 2024. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in environmental health, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, or occupational health; postdoctoral experience is preferred. ABD candidates will be considered, but the doctoral degree must be earned before 30 June 2024. Must be able to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: Environmental Chemistry, Toxicology, Public Health Law, Solid and Hazardous Waste, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health. Ability to teach other courses in the department is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of the ability to interface with a multidisciplinary faculty with a broad range of interests. Establishment of a funded research program in area of expertise that involves graduate (MPH) and undergraduate students is expected. The appointment includes a competitive salary and startup funds. The position level will be commensurate with the applicant’s background, extramurally funded research, and academic experience.
