			Position purpose A Level D academic is expected to make a significant contribution to all activities of the organisational unit or interdisciplinary area and play a significant role within their profession or discipline. Academics at this level may be appointed in recognition of distinction in their disciplinary area. This position will be based at the Main Campus, Bandar Sunway. The Associate Professor in Wound Care will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive wound care courses, incorporating the latest research, treatment techniques, and clinical practices. The role includes designing an engaging curriculum, fostering interdisciplinary learning, and equipping students with essential skills in wound assessment, diagnosis, and management. The position will contribute to the growth of the wound care program and advance wound care research within the School. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach in the School’s undergraduate programs.  Key responsibilities 
Contribute to curriculum development, innovation, enhancement and quality assurance in the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculumDevelop and deliver innovative and excellent teaching, learning and assessment experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate studentsConduct world-class research, maintaining an active record of high-quality publications, grants, and PhD student supervisionContribute to the development and implementation of a research strategy for the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, consistent with the research priorities of Monash University Malaysia and Monash UniversityContribute to the development of strong collaborations with other universities and with government, industry and/or civil society to drive research impact and educational excellenceContribute to the management of education, research and/or administration in the School, including coaching, mentorship, leadership and effective performance management   Key selection criteria Education/Qualifications
