The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences in the School of Public Health and Health Professions (SPHHP) is recruiting a state-funded, 10-month Clinical Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy Program.

The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching, scholarship and service mission of the program. Duties may include teaching lecture and laboratory courses; mentoring students in clinical research projects, advising students; and contributing to ongoing curriculum quality improvement.
Knowledge of higher education, neuromuscular curriculum, and contemporary clinical practice are essential along with research experience and excellent communication skills. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in NYS.

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at UB has a longstanding history of excellence in clinical education in programs leading to the Doctor of Physical Therapy, the BS/MS in Occupational Therapy, and the PhD in Rehabilitation Science. The PT and OT entry-level programs have enjoyed continuous accreditation for more than 60 years.
