Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences is now accepting applications for a full-time position of
Clinical Assistant Professor of Exercise Science. We encourage applications from candidates who are historically underrepresented in academia. This is a 10-month, renewable, term position to begin in Fall 2025.
Responsibilities include teaching three undergraduate/graduate courses per semester, mentoring undergraduate students, and participating in service activities (e.g., Department, School, University, and Professional organizations). Although teaching will be the primary function of this position, the ideal candidate will establish a line of scholarship that will complement and build off current strengths of the department.

About the Department:The Department of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences is one of the academic units in the School of Public Health & Health Professions. There are well-established research programs and excellent facilities available within the Department and School. The Department offers a BS in Exercise Science, a BS in Nutrition, a BS/MS in Exercise Nutrition, a Clinical Nutrition MS, a MS degree in Athletic Training, MS degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Science, a combined Exercise Science BS/MPH in Epidemiology and PhD degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition. The Department is home to the Center for Research and Education in Special Environments (CRESE), which is a state of the art facility for performing research at altitude, depth, and extremes of temperature.
