The Department of Medical Humanities and Ethics is seeking a Part-time Senior Staff Associate to direct the Medical Journalism Workshop for the Division of Narrative Medicine’s Studio Lab. The position requires that the candidate selects student and faculty participants from throughout CUIMC and directs the twice-a-month seminars in writing for the public press. In addition, the candidate will  coach participants in choosing a publication to which to submit the writing, approaching editors of newspapers or magazines, and writing the query letter.

Bachelor's degree and 6 -10 years experience. 

Master's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Salary Range: $35,568-$35,568

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
