We are seeking a new, full-time (12-month) hire in the Office of Academic and Student Affairs, School of Public Health and Health Professions. This position will lead the development and implementation of administration and student services programs for graduate public health programs:
- Collaborate with OASA recruitment staff to deliver recruitment activities, including the School’s presence at the American Public Health Association (APHA), for graduate public health programs.
- Process student applications for public health programs including the BS-PH/MPH combined degree, public health certificate, and MPH programs (among others); and move completed applications to appropriate admission committees.
- Facilitate admission decisions for BS-PH/MPH, and certificate students.
- Advise students in a program such as the certificate, about transitioning to public health degree programs.
- Perform administration functions for graduate public health programs: make data-driven recommendations for new / revised curricula to units; submit new or revised curricula to departments, the graduate school, registrar, and accreditors; track, monitor and report student academic and job placement outcomes; and collect, analyze and report data from students, alumni, employers, peers, and community partners to enhance our programs.
- Interpret accreditation standards, and track, monitor, and guide the School and departments to ensure programs, student services, processes, and outcomes meet or exceed standards.
- Provide student support services including orientations, academic and career support, extracurricular activities, and interprofessional activities.
- Conduct program and course advising for MPH students.
- Manage all aspects of the public health certificate program.
- Support students in experiential learning activities including the MPH field training experience and interprofessional collaborative practice experiences.
- Maintain student records, course / curricula documentation, and student and program outcomes data.
