This position develops and delivers nutritional education through EFNEP, the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program and the Snap-Ed The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education . This position teaches classes using the EFNEP curriculum for the majority of the average weekly work hours. Consistent with the philosophy, policy and overall mission, goals and educational objectives of the Cooperative Extension at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, EFNEP is a federally funded educational program which strives to improve the health of limited resource youth and families with young children through practical lessons in nutrition. Tasks include instruction, providing knowledgeable and focused customer service, marketing, event scheduling, and expense reporting. Renewal of the position is contingent on the availability of funds. This position will be located in Martin County.
