Primary Purpose

The successful candidate will manage all coordination of clinical placements, required student paperwork, clinical agency and preceptor paperwork, and public relations with clinical sites that support undergraduate, graduate and doctoral clinical nursing experiences in Idaho and other states. They will collaborate with the CON Program Directors and Coordinators to assure efficient and successful clinical placements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages, coordinates, and organizes all required documents, data, and contracts regarding clinical placements to ensure compliance with agreement policies and accreditation standards.
  • Assists faculty with coordination of clinical placement assignments.
  • Collaborates with the DNP Program Coordinator and other professional disciplines in KDHS to coordinate and manage clinical sites and preceptors that involve interdisciplinary clinical experience opportunities.
  • Generates and manages data for CON reports.
  • Participates in development of clinical sites for all CON students.
  • Maintains positive and effective communication and relations with CON staff, faculty, students, and clinical agencies and providers.
  • Manages and maintains strict confidentiality regarding background checks for all CON students.
  • Manages process working directly with course faculty for student, preceptor, and site evaluation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate degree in business, or a healthcare related field.
  • Experience working with clinical practices and affiliation agreements and contracts.
  • Has knowledge of and demonstrates applicable computer skills for Windows, including Word, Excel, and
  • Powerpoint, Adobe , Google Calendar and willingness to learn various electronic platforms specifically Moodle, Typhon, ACEMAPP, and BOX.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MS degree in a healthcare related field or in business.
  • Has demonstrated experience with Moodle, Typhon, ACEMAPP, BOX.
  • Demonstrated skills in contract review, organization and prioritizing tasks, able to build professional community relationships, works well with students, faculty and staff.
