St. Ambrose University welcomes qualified candidates to apply for a full time, 12-month Academic Fieldwork Coordinator clinical track faculty position in the Occupational Therapy Department. The successful applicant will coordinate all levels of fieldwork experiences and teach in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program beginning July 1, 2022. The Occupational Therapy Department is well-established and focused on educating ethical, innovative, and sensitive occupational therapists who will serve to support the occupational participation of others. Our department values reflective client-centered practice, professionalism, scholarship, and service.

A doctoral degree in occupational therapy or a related field is required. Those enrolled in a doctoral degree program will be considered if anticipating completion by July 2022. A minimum of two years clinical experience and eligibility for licensure in the state of Iowa are required. Those with experience managing field placements and supervising students are especially encouraged to apply.

The Occupational Therapy Department is one of seven health science departments within the College of Health and Human Services. Multiple inter-professional learning events and numerous outreach services enhance the student experience in Occupational Therapy and promote a culture of team work and advocacy for health and wellness in the Quad Cities.
