New opportunity in our Quality Department for  a self-motivated project manager type to manage the development and  work flow process of assigned American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) quality clinical practice guidelines (CPG), policies, and clinical reports including conducting methodologically rigorous literature reviews and evidence synthesis research analyses. 

 

Qualifications needed:

  • Master’s degree in epidemiology, health administration, nursing, social sciences, or related discipline required; PhD preferred.
  • At least four years’ related experience in health services research and/or delivery of health care services with a special focus on research.
  • Experience applying the GRADE framework to assess the quality of clinical evidence, performing systematic reviews for clinical practice guidelines, along with skills in health care quality improvement, methodology, and measurement highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, evidence-based medicine, and the application of epidemiologic principles to the development of guidelines required, as well as demonstrated ability to synthesize and interpret study results and derive insights.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills required.
  • Must be able to apply good judgment, manage multiple priorities simultaneously and autonomously, take initiative, collaborate effectively with various internal and external constituents, work both independently and as part of a team, and promote and maintain a positive and cooperative team-oriented work environment with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Strong technical acumen essential with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and the ability to learn and apply new technologies; experience with virtual meeting platforms (eg, WebEx, Teams) and document collaboration sites (eg, SharePoint) preferred.
  • Some travel and weekend work required.
