Health Administration & Policy Health Services Management
The Program in Health Sciences at Saint Louis University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member to join our nationally competitive, well-respected program. The 9-month appointment has an anticipated start date of January, 2023. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in an area of expertise for the undergraduate cohort of ~300 undergraduate students, participate in scholarly activities as appropriate, and provide service to the Department, College and/or University. A competitive total compensation package, including tuition remission for qualified personnel and a generous retirement plan, will be provided. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications and experience.
Earned Master's degree or higher
Education in healthcare administration and/or healthcare management, or health sciences from an accredited College or University
Experience working in the field of healthcare administration and/or healthcare management
Evidence of ability to teach effectively at the University level
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability and experience to teach some or all of the following topics/courses: Healthcare Management, Healthcare Technology Management, Quality Management and Process Improvement, Healthcare Delivery, Consumer Literacy, and other operational aspects of Healthcare Delivery and Management
Five years’ experience of College or University level teaching
