Position: Instructor/Assistant Professor Department: Graduate Public Health

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Teaching experience in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics
Successful teaching experience teaching a range of Public Health courses (e.g., Biostatistics, Statistics lab, analytics)
Experience and/or research working with diverse populations
Experience in advisement and mentoring of students
Experience with face-to-face and online instruction
Record of peer-reviewed journal publications and presentations
Record of funded research
Work experience in public health and/or business settings that required the use of statical analysis
Experience with SAS, SPSS, or other statistical technology
Master of Public Health (MPH) and other related terminal or professional degree in a statistics related field (MS. Dr. PH, PhD, MD, JD, etc.)
A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience
Knowledge of statistical and analytical principles.
Has knowledge and understanding of community-based research techniques.
Has knowledge of data analysis information systems and implementation in an educational environment.
Demonstrated ability to provide direct leadership using appropriate management skills including staff supervision, budget administration, decision-making, effective communication, and time management.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups (faculty, staff, students, and clients) openly and honestly in verbal, written and electronic forms.
Interpersonal skills to effectively function in an educational environment.
Has organizational, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
Commensurate with education, training and experience
