UTSW has more than 2,800 full‐time faculty who garner more than $524 million in annual grant funding for research. UTSW’s outstanding Department of Population and Data Sciences, with more than $8 million in research funding annually and emerging leadership in population health, will serve as the foundation for building the new school.
The UTSW Medical District spans 230 acres in Dallas. Through its own and affiliated health systems – Parkland Health & Hospital System, Children’s Health, Texas Health Resources, and the VA North Texas Health Care System – UTSW physicians are central to the care of millions of residents in North Texas.
