About HSPP/EEHThe Division of Health Services Policy and Practice has developed a multidisciplinary program that combines innovative research with didactic training in core public health concepts, policy formulation, community health assessment, program intervention design, behavioral economics and financial incentives, implementation and dissemination research, program management and evaluation, and other core health services competencies.
The Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health prides itself in its multidisciplinary faculty, with faculty research focused on chronic diseases (e.g., cancer, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, periodontal disease, diabetes, eye disease), environmental health, global health, infectious disease, women’s health, genetics, nutrition, health care delivery, quality of care, health policy, health economics, and health disparities.
About SPHHPSPHHP offers programs at every degree level and is the home to departments of biostatistics, community health and health behavior, epidemiology and environmental health, exercise and nutrition sciences, and rehabilitation science. It is one of only a few schools across the country that includes both health-related professions and public health. It has a diverse student body which it is actively engaged in supporting.
