Graduate Institute of Injury Prevention and Control (IPC) established in 2000 as the first postgraduate institute devoted to injury research in Asia. Graduate Institute of IPC conducts research within the field of injury. Our institute has a strong focus on road safety, traumatic brain injury, occupational medicine, emergency medicine, disaster medicine and other injury related fields.
This post-doctoral position is intended to do research in the field of road safety and emergency medicine. We are looking for a researcher with a solid background on injury field particularly in road safety and emergency medicine. The expected approach is quantitative analysis, secondary data analysis, and GIS analysis.
The main duties for this position are conducting research and writing up manuscripts based on research findings. There is no teaching duty for this position. Providing postgraduate students with analytical skills with big data is also expected.
We are looking for a researcher with the following requirements:
1. A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in relevant fields
2. Advanced data management skills.
3. Able to conduct quantitative analysis including primary and secondary data
4. Proficiency in written and oral English
5. Documented experience in writing an injury-related manuscript.
Salary and benefits
Graduate Institute of IPC offers a monthly salary of NT$55,000 plus health insurance coverage and a reduced fee for medical expenses in Taipei Medical University affiliated hospitals.
Terms of employment
This is a full-time job with a one-year duration of the contract and it is renewable based on performance.
