This is a full-time 12-month faculty position in our Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Program, East Falls Campus (MSOT-EF) with a start date of July 1, 2022. The MSOT-EF Program follows a hybrid weekend (Friday/Saturday) delivery format with students on campus twice a month. Between on-campus weekends, coursework is delivered through online learning activities.
The successful candidate will serve as an integral member of the Department’s dynamic Academic Fieldwork Coordinator team and have administrative, teaching, scholarship and service responsibilities. Responsibilities include administrative management of the fieldwork program including student fieldwork experiences and fieldwork educator relationships; teaching fieldwork related content in an innovative curriculum that is focused on professional development and discovery; engaging in interest-driven, collaborative scholarship; and participating in internal and external service activities.
Qualified applicants will be occupational therapists with a terminal doctoral degree (e.g. OTD, PhD, EdD, or ScD) or near completion. Candidates must have experience as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator or Fieldwork Educator, demonstrate experience and skill in teaching, evidence of collaborations and sustaining partnerships, and possess excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills. Candidates should be open to novel and dynamic processes to support students through experiential learning. Experience in innovative program development in serving the community is highly preferred.
