A full-time, 12-month faculty position is available in the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The candidate’s responsibilities will include teaching in the entry-level MOT and post-professional DrOT and Ph.D. programs; mentoring and facilitating student research; maintaining an established line of scholarship; and providing service at various levels within the University, professional associations, and the community.
The position requires an earned doctorate within 12 months of hire, a minimum of 5 years of related clinical and/or teaching experience, as well as evidence of scholarship. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program and be eligible for licensure in Florida as an occupational therapist.
