The Nursing Laboratory Support Assistant is a permanent 9-month part time position. Under the leadership of the Nursing Laboratory and Human Patient Simulation Director, the assistant assumes day-to-day operational responsibilities for the Nursing Learning Laboratory. The Assistant will facilitate teaching and testing of the professional nursing clinical skills for the undergraduate nursing students.
Duties and Responsibilities (generally)
This position will focus on the scheduling and competency testing of all undergraduate nursing students on Psychometric skills in the Nursing Learning Laboratory. This position will competency test as well as oversee the Graduate Assistants in competency testing. This position will also focus on the scheduling and facilitation of all undergraduate Skills Courses to ensure consistency. This position will also oversee the day to day operations of the Nursing Learning Laboratory.
Minimum Required Qualifications for this position
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Illinois RN License or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Illinois.
