A tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Minimum qualifications include an earned Ph.D. in health economics or a related area. Preferred candidates for this position include:
- those having the potential to develop an excellent funded research program;
- those with expertise in healthcare economics;
- and experience in a healthcare system.
The Department is seeking scholars with outstanding potential in teaching, research and scholarly activity, and in providing professional and University service. Responsibilities of the position include teaching graduate courses; serving on master and doctoral committees; developing and participating in research and scholarly work; conducting applied analyses and disseminating findings to the academic, professional and local communities.
The Department of Health Administration & Policy, located in the Hudson College of Public Health, offers the Master of Public Health (MPH) and the Master of Health Administration (MHA) degrees. The Department and College have close ties with state and local public health agencies and health care organizations. It is located on the vibrant and collaborative University of Oklahoma Health Science Center campus in Oklahoma City, which includes seven professional health colleges.
