The Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences at FIU invites applications for a faculty position as an Open Rank: Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor in the Master’s in Health Services Administration (MHSA) Program. Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications. The desired candidate must have an earned doctoral degree in health services administration/management/policy or a related field. The successful applicant will also be collegial, a team player, a skilled teacher and mentor to students. Must have teaching experience with on-ground and fully online courses. Healthcare background preferred. Strong support from the department, college, and the university in the form of release time, assigned graduate assistants, startup funding, mentorship, assistance in forming collaboration within FIU and local community are readily available. The college and the university also provide grant writing assistance, and strong pre-award and post-award support. The candidate will have teaching responsibilities in both the Bachelor’s (BHSA) and Master’s (MHSA) in Health Services Administration programs.
