This position is sponsored by South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) and the School of Nursing, (SoN) within the Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health (SMAH), the University of Wollongong (UOW) specifically focused on cancer care agenda. South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) services a population of 966,450 living in an area of 6,243km. Residents live in the Local Government Areas of the former Bankstown (now part of Canterbury-Bankstown), Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee.
The position aims to provide outstanding leadership and support to the nursing workforce of SWSLHD through research, development of practice and education which explicitly involves interdisciplinary collaboration and the inclusion of the perspective of service users. The role will also make a significant contribution the School of Nursing, UOW through high quality scholarly outputs including, research funding, publications and higher degrees research student completions and post graduate teaching.
