Position Description Summary:

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at The MetroHealth System (MHS) and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine invite applications for a nontenure-track, PhD Scientist faculty position to begin no later than July, 2023.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:


The successful candidate will have a track record of peer-reviewed publications, and a strong background in clinical, disability, and or social sciences research relevant to persons with neurological impairments, especially those with spinal cord injury. The successful candidate is expected to envision, design and conduct original neurorehabilitation research or technology development projects as an independent investigator, as a team scientist or an early career faculty under the mentorship of independent investigators. Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience, and track record of peer-reviewed publications and extramural funding. The successful candidate will also contribute to leadership and mentorship within the Department of PM&R at MHS and CWRU School of Medicine.
