Job Description Summary
The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Auburn University invites applications for a twelve-month, non-tenure track Assistant Clinical Professor in Audiology position. Responsibilities include clinical teaching of students in the Doctor of Audiology (ASHA accredited) program, clinical outreach, and scholarship. Candidates are also expected to participate in departmental and university committees and service activities. The university has a clinical career ladder for promotion as a faculty member exhibits professional productivity and develops local, regional, and national reputation within the field of Audiology.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must hold their Doctor of Audiology (AuD), CCC-A at the time of employment, have the ability to provide diagnostic and rehabilitative services for all types of auditory disorders and all ages, and be eligible for Alabama licensure. At least three years of clinical experience are preferred. Student supervision experience and academic experience are preferred. Candidates must be eligible to work at Auburn University starting August 16, 2022.
Desired Qualifications
Desired clinical specialties include tinnitus, adult APD, and/or electrophysiological testing.
