The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Emerson College seeks to fill a nine-month, full-time, renewable, non-tenure track teaching position ("term faculty"). We will consider individuals with expertise in any area of Speech-Language Pathology. The position involves teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels both in person and online. Courses in our program are offered year-round. We are particularly interested in candidates who are willing to take on administrative roles, specifically graduate program director, with appropriate workload adjustments. The appointment begins August 22, 2019 with a mandatory 2-day orientation August 22 and 23, 2019. We require ASHA certification, experience teaching, and creating an inclusive learning environment at the graduate or undergraduate level within a diverse student community. A doctorate in communication disorders or related field is preferred but not required, as is experience with online pedagogy, student recruitment, advising, and program development. Applicants with some clinical experience are preferred.
