Job Summary: The Undergraduate Nursing Program at Simmons University is seeking applicants for a full time Boston-based 10-month contract faculty position in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, to begin in Spring 2022. Primary Responsibilities

The faculty member will have the opportunity to teach courses in the undergraduate nursing program . Potential courses will include, but are not limited to, NURS-335: Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. The faculty member is expected to advise and mentor undergraduate nursing students, participate in curriculum development, and actively engage in service to the Simmons community.


Simmons Undergraduate Nursing program is seeking candidates with a demonstrated commitment to clinical and academic excellence. While a doctoral degree in nursing is preferred, applicants with an MS in Nursing with at least 5 years' experience will also be considered. Previous teaching at the college level is preferable; applicants seeking to begin a career in higher education should also consider this opportunity. Applicants are required to hold and maintain a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Massachusetts.
