The Environmental Health Study for Western New York is a population-based cohort study that, broadly, explores numerous associations among environmental exposures and various health outcomes. The study uses a questionnaire-based approach and includes the collection of biological samples. We are searching for a research analyst to join our team to assist in coordinating the collection of biological specimens, specifically calling participants to answer questions, go through the consenting process, follow up, enter data, and schedule appointments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contact interested participants about biospecimen sample collection, complete consenting procedures, and schedule appointments
- Follow up with contacted participants throughout the process
- Assemble and mail documents to participants
- Communicate with laboratory, UB biobank regarding specimens received/scheduled and enter data
- Submit payment forms for participants who completed biospecimen collection
