We invite applications for a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of Community Health and Health Behavior at the University at Buffalo (UB). The fellow will join a public health team conducting research regarding HIV prevention and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). This research is conducted with patient populations as well as health care professionals. Duties will include conducting ongoing qualitative and quantitative analyses, conceptualizing and writing manuscripts for publication, and planning future research in this area. The fellow will have an opportunity to hone her or his knowledge of health behavior theory, as well as paper and grant writing.
Doctorate in health behavior, epidemiology, public health, social psychology, or a related behavioral/social sciences field is required.
Prior experience in secondary data analysis of theoretically driven disease prevention research and strong mixed methods skills are preferred.
