Postdoctoral Research Associate
Job Summary/Basic Function: The postdoctoral research associate will report daily to the UNTWISE Director and meet regularly with their assigned mentor to assist in all major aspects of grant coordination and research program development for UNTWISE. The research associate will design and implement a structured research program for the Summer training programs facilitated by UNTWISE; provide consultation, training, and technical assistance and support the expansion of the UNTWISE research agenda and services. The Research Associate will also work with the Director and Department Chair to seek additional relevant funding streams to support research within UNTWISE. The individual is expected to work closely with the Director, faculty mentor, other interested faculty and doctoral RAs to maximize the quality of UNTWISE deliverables and research capacity.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselor Education, Measurement and Evaluation or other health related disiplines.

Strong record of scholarship and demonstrated ability to successfully develop and lead research initiatives.

Ability to work with faculty across disciplines.

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty across disciplines

Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications: Background in research or work experience with individuals with disabilities.

Funded external research grant support.
