The College of St. Scholastica has openings for adjunct faculty to teach in the Master’s Occupational Therapy program during fall 2019 and spring and summer semesters 2020. Most courses are 8-week intensive and include occupation-centered practice across the lifespan. Must be available to teach at St. Scholastica’s Health Science Center for a minimum of 2 half days per week. The Health Science Center is located in the BlueStone development about one mile from the Duluth main campus. The Center includes state-of-the-art labs and classroom space, as well as study and lounge areas. It also features maurices Community Clinic, an interdisciplinary clinic where students receive supervised hands-on experience working with uninsured or underinsured individuals.
Preferred degree is a research doctorate (PhD, EdD, ScD) or post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy. Entry-level doctorate degrees with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience will be considered. Master’s degree will be considered depending on years of experience and/or additional professional credentials. Must be licensed in Minnesota or able to receive license by September.
