To add to our esteemed faculty, Pace University’s Lienhard School of Nursing in the College of Health Professions is seeking a Full-time Tenure Track Faculty to join our faculty at the Westchester campus located in Pleasantville, NY.

Position Summary:

This key position is responsible for teaching courses in our PhD and graduate nursing department. Candidates should have a strong desire to teach master’s and doctoral students. The Lienhard School of Nursing is a growing and thriving setting for those seeking a collegial work environment.

About the Lienhard School of Nursing:

The Lienhard School of Nursing (LSN) was established in 1966 and has more than 7,000 alumni and over 900 students enrolled in baccalaureate and graduate degree programs between the Westchester and NYC campuses. The LSN has a strong history of educating a culturally diverse, highly skilled nursing workforce, and has a longstanding commitment to primary health care and evidence-based practice.

About the College of Health Professions:

Established in 2010, the College of Health Professions at Pace University offers a broad range of programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. It is the College’s goal to create innovative and complex programs that reflect the changing landscape of the health care system. These programs are designed to prepare graduates for impactful careers in health care practice, health-related research, or as educators, and equip graduates to work in health policy and global health fields. Students in clinical programs receive hands-on training in the College’s interprofessional Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation and have the opportunity to apply their developing skills in real-world settings at many of the regions’ leading clinical facilities. The College is currently comprised of several growing and important areas of study, which include Nursing, Physician Assistant, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, and Health Informatics and Health Science.

Position Qualifications:

  • All candidates must have a doctoral degree and program of scholarship
  • Teaching experience. (Academic rank and salary are commensurate with educational preparation and experience.)
  • An active program of research, and a track record of publications and grant activity.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Previous didactic teaching experience, innovative course development, student mentoring, and Inter-professional practice.
  • Established program of scholarship
  • Previous experience in Chairing and/or serving doctoral dissertation committee.
  • Previous experience with grant writing
  • Expertise in quantitative design and methods
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic and clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional service across a variety of settings
