The Department of Health, Behavior & Society at the University of Kentucky is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar under the direct supervision of Dr. Jerod Stapleton. The role of this position is to coordinate the conduct of population studies research, including studies of health-related behaviors and beliefs among individuals at risk for cancer and cancer patients.
Responsibilities include assisting in all tasks related to ongoing research, with a particular focus on cancer prevention and control, training and supervising students and research staff, data collection, management, and analysis, and writing and preparation of manuscripts and grant applications. |Considerable opportunities for mentored professional development including analytic skills for quantitative and qualitative data, writing lead-author papers, and designing, applying for, and conducting grant-funded research.
